My history behind
the microphone…

I’m Viviana Armas, a native Mexican voice over artist living in France.

I’m a professional voice over artist (Certified in 2011), with a degree in communication from Uninter in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and a master’s degree in communication and marketing in Nantes, France, where I’ve been living for several years.

My adventure behind the microphone began 10 years ago in Mexico. These last years I have been able to combine voice over with my work as a communications professional but since the beginning of 2021 I will working be full time as a voice over artist! Of course, I manage my own communication and digital marketing. Actually, this website has been completely created by myself.

Throughout my career as a Mexican voice over artist, I have voiced brands such as Vevo, Spotify, Nissan, Dr. Mercola, Nescafé, Mary Kay, Pepsico… as well as several international educational video platforms and YouTube channels such as Yogotars and Coilbook. In these channels some of the children’s educational videos I have given voice to have more than 12 million views.

I record my voice in Spanish, French, and English.

I can perform any text in these three languages. My mother tongue is Mexican Spanish, also called neutral Latin American Spanish or International Spanish.
I can also record voice overs in English with an authentic Mexican accent or Hispanic accent.

French is my everyday language and I speak it fluently. From 2021 I’m adding the French language as part of my voice over repertoire. I can therefore record voices in French with a very mild Mexican accent, but if you are looking for a voice over actress with an authentic Mexican accent (very strong), I can help you as well!

I have my home studio in Nantes, France

My home studio is certified by the Gravy for the Brain platform, which guarantees that it meets the standards for professional use. I can deliver professional voice overs from my home studio worldwide within 24 to 48 hours. If you have an urgent project, I’ll do my best to deliver within a few hours, please do not hesitate to ask me.

I’m also a dubbing actress

Among the characters of series and movies I voiced doing Mexican dubbing (in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico) you can find Tara, one of the main characters in the movie Sleepwalking, Mercedes Lozaro in the series Magic City, and Emma Karlin and Angela Mullen in the series Weeds (photo below). Since I live in France, I took a break as a Mexican dubbing actress. However, I can still do dubbing for animated videos, short films, and other projects.

I love my job!

I’ve been doing voice over for 10 years, and I still feel that energy I feel when I’m behind the microphone! That passion for what I do is what pushes me to grow every day and give my best in every project. I currently train regularly with the vocal coach Erwan Noblet to continue exploring my voice. Doing voice over is more than a passion, I love my work and that can be heard and felt in every project I give voice to.
